1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ranker AI service, websites and applications (the "Service") operated by Ranker ai("Ranker AI", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Service
Ranker AI provides AI-assisted content and SEO tools that help users plan, draft and optimize written material. We may add, change or remove features at any time and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information at registration and keep it up to date. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or deceptive purposes;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
- upload malware, attempt to probe, scan or breach security, or interfere with the Service;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs except as expressly permitted;
- generate content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or designed to deceive (including impersonation, deepfakes or disinformation).
You are responsible for the prompts you submit, the outputs you choose to use, and for having the rights to any material you upload. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied on for regulated professional advice without human review. We may remove content or restrict outputs that violate these Terms.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding and documentation, is owned by Ranker AI and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your plan. As between you and us, you retain ownership of the content you submit; you grant us a limited license to host, process and display that content solely to provide the Service.
6. Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, billing cycles, taxes, currency conversion, invoicing and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel future renewals at any time from the billing area of your account; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable export window unless we are required to retain it.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, and we will not be liable for indirect, consequential, special or incidental damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Ranker AI against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.
